Site: Newnham Scout Centre, Chedworth Street, Cambridge

This February we are making exciting art projects inspired by the ideas of Comtemporary British Artists including the Sculptor Antony Gormley and his 'Amazonian Field' of 24,000 clay figures; Cornelia Parker and her 'Thirty Pieces of Silver' made from found objects squashed flat and her 'Bye bye Blackboard' drawing; Anish Kapoor and his 'Art attack' kinetic splash painting that fires paint onto a wall and Damien Hurst's 'For the Love of God', a diamond encrusted head.

We have wonderful creative projects to make this February Half Term...

Make a crowd of Crazy Clay People; squash an object and make it into a Squashed Silver Sculpture; make a device to splash paint to make a Wild Splash Painting; Emboss a sheet of metal to make a Beautiful Creative Silver Drawing; use clay with jewels to make a Fantastic Diamond Sculpture of a Head...

and sketchbooks, games and prizes!!

Each full week costs just £108. There is a daily rate of £29,

with a minimum of 2 days.

There is a £15 discount for each additional child from the same family, per week.

Each day starts at 9am till 3.30pm. An extra hour is available between

3.30pm and 4.30pm for £6 per family.

Arty Crafts has over 11 years of experience in running creative workshops for children aged 5-12 in Cambridge.

All our projects are suitable for all levels of expertise and are designed to encourage individual creativity and confidence in art.

Arty Crafts was started in 1997 in Cambridge by Tom McPherson.

Tom is an artist and holds a BA in Fine Art from St.Martin's School of Art in London and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

Arty Crafts is fully insured and registered by OFSTED.

Creative art is an essential part of a child's development. We always use a range of interesting art and craft materials in our projects. We teach skills and techniques used in art and craft from a range of different cultures. We look at the art of a variety of artists and periods in history.

All art and craft materials are provided, but a packed lunch will be necessary.

Arty Crafts run art workshops during the Christmas, February, Easter, Summer and October school holidays.
